A driver licence with the address on it is the simplest, but a bank statement, a rates notice, a lease or a piece of mail will do. If none of that is inside reach, we can usually work it out with the agent, the landlord or another occupant.
We ask everyone, without exception, and we would rather lose the job than skip it. A locksmith who does not ask is a locksmith who would open your door for somebody else just as readily.
